The CIRI Foundation administers five Native village scholarship and grant programs for Alaska Native original enrollees and their direct lineal descendants.
Eligible applicants may be simultaneously considered for both TCF and village funded awards.
Awards are subject to available funds.
A completed application and all required materials must be submitted by the deadline in order for an applicant to receive full consideration.

KENAI NATIVES ASSOCIATION (KNA) SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT PROGRAM
Purpose: Merit scholarships.
Eligibility: Original enrollees of KNA and their direct lineal descendants. Should have a cumulative 2.5 grade point average or better.
Amount: Subject to available funds.
Duration: One semester. Must re-apply each semester.
Special features: Must be accepted or enrolled full-time in a 2-year or 4-year undergraduate degree or graduate degree program or technical skills training program.
Deadline: June 1 and December 1.
Funding Source: Established by Kenai Natives Association in 1989 and funded by KNA and Tanaina Corporation. In memory of George Miller, Jr.
NINILCHIK NATIVE ASSOCIATION, INC. (NNAI) SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT PROGRAM
Purpose: Merit scholarships.
Eligibility: Original enrollees of NNAI and their direct lineal descendants. Should have a cumulative 2.5 grade point average or better.
Amount: Subject to available funds.
Duration: One semester. Must re-apply each semester.
Special features: Must be accepted or enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or technical skills training program. For tuition, required fees, books, on-campus-related room, and meal plan and for other direct school related costs.
Deadline: June 1 and December 1 for scholarship. June 30 for grant.

SALAMATOF NATIVE ASSOCIATION, INC. (SNAI) SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM
Purpose: Merit scholarships.
Eligibility: Original enrollees of SNAI, their direct lineal descendants, and spouses. Should have a cumulative 2.5 grade point average or better.
Amount: Subject to available funds.
Duration: Annual. Applicants apply only one time during the year.
Special features: Must be accepted or enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program or technical skills training program. For tuition, required fees, books, on-campus-related room, and meal plan and for other direct school related costs.

TYONEK NATIVE CORPORATION SCHOLARSHIP (TNC/NVT) AND GRANT PROGRAM
Purpose: To encourage professional preparation for careers after high school.
Eligibility: Original enrollees of TNC, their direct lineal descendants, and tribal members of the Native Village of Tyonek (NVT). Must have a cumulative 2.0 grade point average or better.
Amount: Subject to available funds.
Duration: Scholarship: One semester. Must re-apply each semester; Grant: May re-apply each deadline of a calendar year until the grant cap is reached. May re-apply the following calendar year after grant cap has been reached.
Special features: Must be accepted or enrolled full-time in an accredited or otherwise approved post-secondary college, university, or technical skills education program.
Deadline: June 1 and December 1 for scholarship. March 31, June 30, September 30, December 1 for grant.
Funding Source: Established by Tyonek Native Corporation in 1989.
EKLUTNA, INCORPORATED (EKLUTNA, INC.) SCHOLARSHIP AND GRANT PROGRAM

Amount:Up to $1,000 received during an academic year. (Annual Scholarship) Up to $1,000 received during a calendar year. (Vocational Training Grant, Career Upgrade) Up to $500 received during a calendar year. (General / Cultural Fellowship, Urgent Needs Grant) Up to $300 received during a calendar year. (Early Childhood and K-12 Development Grant)
