Tubughna, The Beach PeopleTubughna, The Beach PeopleA 57-minute, color video documentary about life and changes in the Dena'ina Athabascan village of Tyonek, Alaska from 1964 to 1984.  While old ways are described, village life in the 1960s is shown, such as hunting, fishing, trapping, cutting wood, sewing skins, cooking and socializing.  There is a glimpse of the impact of oil exploration upon the village and the changes brought by the construction of new homes, modern utilities, and improved transportation.  Concern centers on future development plans in the area and the impact of contemporary trends on the village.  1988.
