INTERNSHIPS


The purpose of The CIRI Foundation Internship Program is to partner with employers to assist eligible applicants with supervised on-the-job training that will provide practical work experience consistent with career preparation. This opportunity enables a student to combine formal learning with practical experience to improve prospects for employment upon completion of a post-secondary education.

Intern Applicants must be:
Alaska Native original enrollees to Cook Inlet Region, Inc. and their direct lineal descendants, whether natural or legally adopted, who:

  • Should be enrolled in either 1) a two-year degree program, or 2) a four-year degree program (Junior standing), or 3) a graduate degree program, AND should have a minimum 3.0 grade point average or better; OR,
  • Recently, successfully, completed an undergraduate or graduate degree program; OR
  • Currently enrolled in or recently completed a technical skills training program at an accredited or otherwise approved post-secondary institution.

DEADLINES
All internship applications and accompanying materials must be received by The CIRI Foundation on or before the deadline in order for the application to receive full consideration.

Deadlines for internship programs available through The Foundation are as follows:
March 31, June 30, September 30, and December 1
