SCHOLARSHIPS AND GRANTS FOR INDIVIDUALS
The CIRI Foundation’s next application deadline for (1) Vocational Training Grants, (2) Career Upgrade Grants, (3) General/Cultural Fellowships, and (4) Internship Program is Tuesday, September 30, 2008. The applications are due by 12:00 midnight Alaska time and may be submitted via fax, email or drop-box.

APPLICATION DEADLINES
Applications with all, or most, accompanying materials must be RECEIVED by The CIRI Foundation on or before the deadline to receive priority consideration. When the application deadline falls on a Saturday, Sunday or a TCF holiday, applicants are encouraged to fax, email, or hand deliver applications to the white drop box located in front of the Nat’uh Building on or before the deadline, as the deadline remains the same.

The Services Directory for Alaska Native and Other Native American Families includes programs offered by various organizations within the Cook Inlet region. It has proven to be a very helpful guide for Alaska Native and Native American families as it includes a wide range of services such as housing, medical services, and child care. There are also many educational programs described which help Alaska Natives gain economic self-sufficiency and a promising future. |
