The CIRI Foundation supports the post-secondary education and career development for eligible applicants through scholarships and grants.

Eligibility for funding through The CIRI Foundation is not directly related to CIRI shares or shareholder status. Eligibility is determined through your status as an original enrollee of CIRI or as a direct lineal descendant of an original enrollee. Individuals with inherited or gifted shares do not qualify as original enrollees, but they may be eligible if they are also a lineal descendant.
Lineal descendants of original CIRI enrollees must provide the relevant documents (e.g. birth certificate(s) or adoption degree) to confirm your relationship to an original enrollee. More than on birth certificate may be necessary. Sworn statements or affidavits are not accepted to verify eligibility.
The CIRI Foundation (TCF) is proud to support the members of and descendants of original enrollees for the following villages in the Cook Inlet Region. These funds are administered by TCF in accordance to the management agreements established with each village corporation. Eligible applicants may be considered for awards from both TCF General Endowment and the following village funds:
