Dear CIRI Foundation,
Thank you for selecting me to be awarded your excellence scholarship for the 2007-08 academic year. I feel both blessed and committed to doing my best by your gift. Your tremendous support makes my goals and dreams of learning more about our world and gaining the tools which will help give back to the community and state in a positive way a reality, and I am grateful for your generous support. Thank you.
Sincerely,

Dear Ms. Anderson,
Thank you very much for selecting me as a recipient of this years’ Cap Lathrop Scholarship. After this past academic year I was worried if I was going to be able to finish off my last year at UAA due to my financial status. The award will help me out tremendously to offset the expenses of raising three children and completing post-secondary education. I would not be in the position I am in today without the support I receive through organizations such as yours, for this, I am thankful for the generous funding to keep my dreams alive. Before my mother passed away, she was very proud that I was attending college, which is out of the ordinary coming from a village of roughly four hundred people. I am very fortunate that I can keep the promise I made to her to complete my education. After I graduate from UAA in May, I plan on furthering my education by completing a graduate degree out of the University of Washington. Once again, thank you very much.
Sincerely,

Hi Tabetha –
Thanks to the CIRI Foundation’s internship program I was given the opportunity to work as a Development Professional who was responsible for all aspects around identifying, strategizing and writing proposals to corporations, foundations and government entities. As a result I advanced my occupational knowledge while raising my employer’s organizational budget by 20 percent!
Due to that two year experience I was able to apply to the Brooklyn Center for the Urban Environment and get hired. I am now their Coordinator of Development and Public Affairs. The CIRI Foundations support has been an invaluable source for my occupational advancement. Please thank the entire CIRI Foundation team for their assistance. I am so filled with appreciation for their efforts. Keep up the good work!
