I want to thank you and the CIRI Foundation for your financial support with our Traveling Traditions program here at the Alutiiq Museum. I know and feel that it was part of this program that allowed me to receive the MacArthur Fellows Award. It is truly humbling in receiving this honor. The real honor goes out to wonderful people like you and your foundation that helps all of us make a difference one person at a time.
